Covid-19 Awareness Campaign 2021
An educational initiative on the Prevention and Spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) was conducted by the Helprelay Foundation on May 6, 2021, in an effort to safeguard Pakistan from the global outbreak. The primary objective of this awareness program was to enlighten and educate the local community about preventive measures that can effectively reduce the transmission of the disease.
In order to reach a wide audience, the COVID Awareness Campaign was strategically carried out through various platforms including Churches, Schools, Mosques, and Temples. These places, known for their high footfall, have also been significant sources of COVID-19 spread. As part of the campaign, we visited several Mosques, churches, and Schools and discovered that adequate precautions against COVID-19 were not being implemented.
To address this issue, we initiated a campaign to raise awareness and provided informative presentations on COVID-19 to different Church and Mosque communities. In addition, we distributed free masks and sanitizers to encourage regular usage. To ensure maximum impact, 100 Churches and Mosques were provided with face masks and sanitizers.
By taking decisive action and providing necessary resources, we aimed to empower communities to prioritize their health and contribute to the containment of the virus.
